The IBTC
has been training skilled craftsmen since 1975, promoting the traditional
crafts of boatbuilding and joinery, with past students going on to enjoy
careers in boatbuilding or using their skills to build boats and furniture for
their own use.
This year
has been an exciting one for the college, with new owners Mike and Lyn Tupper
taking the helm and adding their fresh new approach to the traditional training
offered – hence their new slogan ‘Traditional Skills, Modern Thinking’ and
their striking new website.
